Summer!
Well, school's out, and we've plunged head-first into the production of BVP. If you've been watching the blog for the past week, well, for one you're crazy, and we thank you for it, but you'll have noticed that our progress bar has slowly been creeping forward. We've finished off the last minute details of several early scenes, completed some smaller proceeding scenes, and we're currently working on one big one right in the middle. We've been working around the clock on this, hoping to regain some lost time.
I really can't say when the movie will be released. All of our previous estimates have been wrong. First July 05, then September, then November, then December, then January 06, and then we went so far as to guess three months ahead and say April. Obviously, even that far out guess proved fruitless. We're desperately trying to get the movie done around the beginning of July, but realistically, I don't know if even that's a plausible date. We'll just have to wait and see. It will become more clear as to when the movie will be finished as time goes on.
In the meantime, don't lose hope! One thing I can certainly guarantee is that the movie WILL be coming out, and it WILL come out this year. Before, we underestimated the time it would take to go through our larger scenes, crammed packed with special effects, both audio and visual. But now that we've gone through at least one of those monsters, we have a better understanding of how long it takes to complete a scene, so you can expect our estimates to be more... reliable... in the future. Once we're done with the big scene I mentioned earlier, I'll post our next official estimate. Stay tuned!
